Build Relationships. Share Experiences. Make Memories.

From rugby and podcasts to events, celebrations and life beyond the touchline, it’s about great conversations, shared experiences, plenty of laughter and the connections that make life worthwhile.

About Bruce

Bruce loves that rugby has given an opportunity to build relationships with so many awesome people, he’s been to some amazing places and he’s got a heap of stories he loves to tell.

That means…

Happiness is Egg Shaped

Bruce grew up in a small village trying to keep up with his 2 big brothers. In 1990 Bruce was there when Scotland won the Grand Slam, the love affair with Murrayfield began. Rugby playing didn’t start until going to Galashiels Academy and being inspired by David Wright, Bill Noble and Rob Moffat.

There is so much to celebrate in this great game and the stories need to be told.

Bruce takes EVERY chance to champion the people in the game.

Bruce Aitchison Event Host

“Rugby is the excuse to come together. But it’s the people that keep us coming back.

We meet with like minded folk, but also with people from places and backgrounds we might never have met if we hadn’t been at the same club or the same game at the same time.

Then the magic happens!

And that is…

Happiness is Egg Shaped”

Happiness Is… Podcast

The Happiness Is… podcast is all about people and the stories that shape them. Through honest conversations, shared experiences and plenty of laughter along the way, Bruce sits down with fascinating guests to discover what makes them tick — and, ultimately, what makes them happy.

From familiar faces to people with extraordinary stories to tell, every episode is different. Expect conversations about life, rugby, challenges, successes, community and everything in between. Because sometimes the best conversations are the ones you didn’t expect to have.

Bruce brings both professionalism and energy to our events. He takes care to tailor to the audience and connects with everyone in the room. He’s always well prepared and thankfully also copes so well with our last minute changes. Our whole team really enjoys working with him.

Rugby

Rugby is the reason. As a player, coach, educator and lifelong supporter of the game, he’s experienced first-hand the friendships, opportunities and moments that make rugby about so much more than what happens for 80 minutes on a Saturday.

Today, Bruce works with players, coaches, clubs and communities to share his experience, encourage others and champion the values that make the game special. Whether it’s coaching on the pitch, supporting the people around it or simply talking rugby, the aim is always the same – help people enjoy the game and leave it better than they found it.
