“Bruce is a brilliantly funny witty speaker with a well honed style of observational humour. He is always in tune with his audience does his homework nad captures the mood of the event and ensures laughter from all. Having had the pleasure of hearing Bruce on a few occasions I would always look forward to an event Bruce was speaking at. (And his dress sense especially the tartan suit has the audience smiling before he opens his mouth!).

I had attended a couple of dinners that Bruce spoke at so when I was tasked with arranging a speaker for our club dinner (Kinross RFC) I had no hesitation in contacting him. He certainly didn’t let us down. He regaled us with stories of his, and others’, rugby prowess. It was delivered in a highly entertaining way so that even the non-aficionados found it captivating. He has a real presence and a wealth of tales so is able to pitch his speech at a level that is sure to entertain. In my experience, he relates very well with his audiences.
I look forward to seeing him speak again and hearing more of his tales.

I had the pleasure of being on the top table at the St Boswells RFC Club Dinner at the end of last season with Bruce Aitchison and was thoroughly entertained along with a large band of St Boswells players and officials. He was witty, his speech was well-researched and he judged his audience well with the right balance of material and anecdotes. He also managed to raise a good amount of money in donations for charity on the night. The audience was very responsive to him and it was a magnificent evening, made, to a large extent, by Bruce’s presence. I would certainly recommend him as an after-dinner speaker for sure.

We were fortunate enough to have Bruce as a speaker at our annual club dinner. Very good speaker, he can have the entire room rolling around laughing one minute and then captivated by a brilliant story the next.
Make sure he doesn’t wear his tartan trousers!!

Garry ‘Rummell’ Douglas, Hawick RFC

Bruce provided excellent entertainment at a Sportsman’s Dinner organised as a memorial fundraiser for a former pupil. On an emotional evening, he delivered an excellent speech on the power of Sport and the positive impact it can have on us. Later in the evening Bruce took on the role of auctioneer and his quick wit kept the guests entertained and encouraged huge generosity in raising funds for our chosen charities.  Bruce’s warm nature and entertaining anecdotes are engaging and sure to raise smiles, laughs and maybe some tears. I cannot recommend him enough!

Bruce was event announcer for the 2016 EuroHockey Youth Championship held at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre. He presented to the international audience with sporting style and flair, creating an exciting atmosphere and bringing the event to life. We were massively impressed with Bruce and look forward to having him at future Scottish Hockey events.

Recently Kowloon RFC held a black tie 40th anniversary dinner in London with people flying in from the Far East, North America and Europe to catch up with old friends, some of whom had not seen each other for over 30 years.
There was quite an agenda to get through with videos, interviews and speeches.  As MC, Bruce quite simply did a great job.  He made a huge difference to the whole occasion, recognising the nature of the evening, keeping things moving along and all with a great sense of humour.
